Part-Time Sales Assistant – Whittington Branch, Main Street, WS14 9JR

                          10 HOURS PER WEEK

Working Saturdays and Sundays and some evenings during the week until 9pm.

Must also be flexible to help cover Annual leave and bank holiday openings

Duties will include providing excellent Customer Service, Delivery Unloading and Stock Replenishment.

Applicants must be 18 years or more, due to the selling of age restricted products, e.g. Alcohol & Cigarettes

16 hours per week -Maternity Leave Cover -(Temporary)

Availability to work Bank Holidays and help cover annual leave from time to time.

Duties include excellent customer service in Food retail, delivery unloading, cash handling, receiving postal articles, and general post office counter services.

Funeral Arranger- Uttoxeter Branch, 34 High Street, Uttoxeter ST14 7HT

Tamworth Co-operative Funeral Service are an independent co-operative based in Tamworth with branches covering Staffordshire, South Derbyshire, and the Black Country. We are committed to the providing every customer with the highest levels of care and service every time.

Principle Duties

The Funeral Arranger must be:

Approachable and professional,
Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills, and possess a good telephone manner.
Able to give support and guidance.
Able to have comprehensive knowledge of our business and the services we offer.
Able to maintain Strict Confidentiality when dealing with Funeral Matters
As well as carrying out client-facing duties, Administrator / Arrangers also deal with the administration tasks involved in the arrangement of a funeral. These include dealing with:

Liaising with outside agencies i.e. Ministers, Crematorium, Cemeteries etc and our head office functions, entering data into our internal systems and a wide range of other general administration tasks.
The Funeral Arranger will primarily be available to help the client to arrange the funeral, whether that be for their loved one or for themselves if they are purchasing one of our pre-payment plans.

Through making these arrangements and building relationships within the local community, our Funeral Arrangers often become known as the face of our business in their local area.

As well as working with clients to arrange a funeral, the Funeral Arranger would be expected to maintain the high branch standards in which the Tamworth Society takes great pride. The Arranger may also be in the branch to meet families who are visiting their loved ones and ensuring that during this time they are fully looked after and supported.

This a minimum of 22.5 per week contract based over 3 days with expectation of additional hours when required.
