Member Services : Overview
As a co-operative, Tamworth Co-operative Society is owned and democratically controlled by its members. The members are the "Shareholders" of the business and have an equal say in how the Society is run.
The Committees that are responsible for running the business are elected by, and accountable to, the membership. As with any other kind of shareholder business, the Board is responsible for reporting the progress of the Society to the membership at Members' Meetings that are held annually.
