One of the prime aims of our Society is to provide Convenience Stores and Supermarkets offering the widest range of fresh foods, groceries and beers, wines and spirits to the local community.
Our Supermarket and convenience stores have recently enjoyed the benefits of extended product ranges, giving our members and customers a much greater selection of products to purchase from.
One of the main aims of the The Co-operative is to produce good quality products at a fair price. Tamworth Co-op believes that as a responsible retailer we should give our customers the information to make an informed choice when shopping with us.
Home Delivery Service
A Major Service offered from our Town Centre Supermarket is Home Delivery.
This service is available over 6 days per week - Monday to Saturday and there are three types of service available:
- You can visit our Supermarket in Tamworth and choose your requirements.
- Phone (01827 63711 ext 204) your order or alternatively email supermarket@tamworth.coop .
- Use our own ORDERBOOK system.This is a service specifically aimed at the housebound customers .
Tamworth Co-operative Society has been running a home delivery service since 1888 and has discovered all the pitfalls that many of the new operators have found, to their customers' inconvenience, at a later date. Therefore we have certain pre-requisites that help us to provide and continue offer the best possible level of service.
If you are using our home delivery service the following terms apply:
(a) We require that you are through our checkouts by 2pm so that we can guarantee same day delivery.
(b) If your total bill is over £25.00 then the delivery charge will be £1.50.
(c) If your bill is under £25.00 then the delivery charge will be £2.50.
(d) In the interests of food hygiene we do not deliver frozen or chilled products, unless if required by our ORDERBOOK customers.
(e) Some areas do have restricted delivery days ,please check before placing your order to avoid delay and inconveneience.
(f) Phoned or emailed orders take a day to process and are therefore delivered next day.Payment is cash on delivery, the charge will be £4.00.
(g) Why not email your order direct to our Supermarket ..... supermarket@tamworth.coop ....please allow the same time for processing your order as above. Please request a return confirmation when you place your order using this method.
