Pre-Paid Plan / Memorial Masonry Consultant

The funeral profession is currently undergoing a number of exciting and dynamic changes.

This year the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has placed an order of regulation on businesses who provide at need funerals. Next year the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will regulate the pre-paid funeral plan market. As a result, we are creating a new full time role (37.5 hours per week) that can manage the sale of funeral plans across the business. In addition to this the successful candidate will also support our memorial masonry department. Although the role will not directly offer at need funerals to our clients the ideal candidate could be an experienced funeral arranger or associated role who is currently used to dealing with pre-paid plans or memorial masonry. The position will be based in Tamworth but the need to travel to any of our funeral homes is essential. The FCA will require the candidate to undergo their own vetting process to ensure they are a responsible and capable person. In addition, there may also be an annual audit and demonstration of capabilities required”. This element is critical to the role.

Delivery Drivers- Church Street Food Store, Tamworth, Staffordshire B79 7DH

The successful candidate will work various hours during 6:00am – 8:00pm over Sunday to Saturday.

Flexibility is a must, to help cover Annual Holiday Leave as and when required.

Applicants must have a clean driving license.

Duties include delivering orders to Customer homes, maintaining a high standard of Customer Service and working in the store when required serving customers and warehouse duties. Applicants must have an “all – rounder” attitude having many skills and abilities.

This position involves a significant amount of Manual work.
